Kids 4 and older attend worship with their family (activity bags are provided)

The fourth Sunday of every month is our Family Sunday, we offer Kids ministry at the 9:30 hour only, and all members of the family attend worship together (no nursery is offered)

We have a cry room for your convenience as well as a nursing mothers room with a changing table.

Wednesday Night (offered spring, summer and fall)

Main class: 4 years-5th grade

Where is the Kids Wing located?

The Kids Wing is located on the main floor north of the Sanctuary. We have signs that will help you find the way.

Who are the volunteers?

Is there a check-in process?

Nearly all of our volunteers are members of FBC Carthage. All of our volunteers go through an application and screening process, including a criminal background check, and reference checks.

What if my child needs me?

First time attendees will need to visit the check in desk to fill out a basic information sheet. Once entered into our system, you will be able to participate in self-check-in.

Upon check-in, each child will receive a name tag sticker to be placed on your child's back. Parents will receive a sticker with a corresponding security code. Children will only be released to a parent producing this code. It is critical this code is not lost.

We require that a parent/legal guardian to remain on premises for the duration with a mobile phone handy in the event of an emergency.

If a child is inconsolable for 10 continuous minutes we will call/text the mobile-phone number provided. If you would like to stay with your child for the first few minutes to help them acclimate, you certainly can.

What will my child be taught?

We use the New City Catechism and Answers in Genesis for Sunday school. We recognize and respect that parents are responsible for their child's learning and are the primary disciplers in their children's lives. Our aim is to come alongside parents, as a resource to help your children learn about and follow Jesus.
